“Fantastic pub!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

We always wanted to have a pub experience in Edinburgh and our choice was perfectly right! The World’s End is a great pub with heavenly food and perfect atmosphere. We spent almost 2 hours there and didn’t want to leave a bit. We had fish&chips and steak& ale pie with delicious beers. Food may have come directly from heaven! The tartar sauce served with fish&chips was amazing! And I can’t find enough words to impress my feelings about steak &ale pie. It was perfectly cooked!

Both fish&chips and steak&ale pie were around 10£. With 3 beers and 1 soft drink the bill came around 55£ for a group of 4.

To say it short, The world’s End is a must-go place in Edinburgh!

“Nice wee stop in the old town!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

Visited Edinburgh to see the Lion King at the Playhouse, and popped into the worlds end on the way back to the hotel (travelodge around the corner). After Cocktails in one place, and a lager in another, it was great to find somewhere a little more to my liking. Nice décor, Sports on TV, a bit of music but nothing 'dancy' and real cask ale available which was nice (went for one called 'worlds end'). Interesting to see all of the different currency nailed up across the bar from the tourists. Found the staff to be friendly. We weren't here for long because we arrived pretty close to closing time, but I would definitely visit again.
