Dined here the night after Edinburgh's Street Party. What a fabulous little restaurant this is! It is located in City Centre, close to lots of bars and other restaurants and quite easy to find. It is quite small but has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It has a small menu - Steaks & Fish but this makes ordering very easy and the food is first class. We all had steaks all served with a lovely salad and fries, just what we needed after the night before. The steaks were cooked to perfection Staff are frendly and helpful. Excellent food, great service and all at a good price - don't miss this place

The steak was the best I have eaten in the UK. Nice, cosy restaurant with great service. You will need to book a table in advance, as it gets fully booked.

We returned to wildfire last Saturday night and had another super meal. My brother enjoyed a steak with all the trimmings and I had the sea bream which was fabulous. Our desserts were a beautiful sticky toffee pudding and delicious profiteroles. The service was excellent. We will be back :-)

The food was amazing, with great serves. Need to make a booking for friday or saturday evenings. We were there on a Friday and many people who had just walked in for a table had to be turned away. Very small but lovely place.

Visited here last night, Tuesday, and had a really lovely evening. The food was absolutely delicious . My daughter and I shared garlic mushrooms as a starter and both went for lamb shank with mash and a side of greens. We both agreed this was the best lamb we had ever eaten. The wine was reasonably priced and enjoyable. The restaurant is cosy, relaxed and a really friendly atmosphere; this was exactly what we were looking for. The service was perfect too, just the right balance between attentive, friendly and relaxed. We will definitely return.
