We were on a search to find the perfect martini for our son in law and we nailed it. In fact. The cocktails were better than anticipated. It was fun looking for this secret spot

Brilliant, hidden speakeasy cocktail bar just off Rose Street. Limited space so probably best to book in advance. Reminds me a bit of some of the Berlin speakeasy bars. Good vibe, music & lighting. Excellent drinks & clued up staff. An oasis of calm away from the rabble & sloppiness of other bars in the area. Love it.

Nice venue, good cocktails, a little pretentious, it was a small place and though we booked well in advance, I was surprised that there was only 6 pax in there around 6.30pm. I doubt I will go again unless we have visitors.

Having been into Bullard & Worth before with my husband, I could resist taking a friend on a Saturday. We had a super evening being expertly looked after by the staff, sampling several cocktails from the menu while enjoying the social atmosphere. Nice and exclusive in spite of being in the centre of town.

Top notch cocktails, expertly blended. This is an intimate venue, beautifully themed as a hard boiled film noir detective agency. Knock on the door, and wait to be let in. Fabio was very helpful with recommending a drink when I wasn’t sure what to choose, and full of helpful knowledge. A perfect place for a classy cocktail.
If you want umbrellas and straws, TGI Fridays is across the road. If you want a not as good version of this with lots of people and queueing, Panda & Sons is round the corner. A true gem and a real hidden bar.

Loved the “knock to enter” rule that is employed. It certainly makes it stand out from the crowd of usual bars in Edinburgh.
Once we got in, we saw the bar was very stylish and perfectly fitted the description of a speakeasy bar.
Drinks were tasty although a touch pricey we felt. My partner was served what she believed to be something akin to a passoa and lemonade, however this set us back £10. My old fashioned was £8 and was at least 80% ice.
Service was idiosyncratic which you would expect.
Looks like it has a lot of potential but could perhaps line up the prices with the performance.
