A great place to stay in Edinburgh. Apartment was lovely, well equipped and in a great location. Lots of nice little touches including a really good welcome pack. Richard was really helpful before we travelled and once we arrived in Edinburgh. Thoroughly recommended
We instantly fell in love with the apartment. The view is great, the location ideal and the flat is very well equipped. Richard was very helpful even before we stayed there, and we appreciated very much that he provided us with some food the first day. Since we were so lucky with the weather we were often out - we hope it will rain the next time so we will never leave the apartment. We hope to come back soon.
Rented the accomodation for new year the location was excellent and central
The apartment was clean and comfortable with lovely views
Richard was very helpful and there was a welcome pack of food essentials on arrival
The accomodation was accessed by several stairs however this was fine
I would recommend this flat as it ticked all the boxes
Thanks to Richard for being so helpful I would definatley book again
A lovely apartment which had everything you needed there, richard had bread milk already in the apartment when we got there, will recommend to anyone
This apartment is thoughtfully arranged to be ideal for a couple or even three, as there is a second bedroom. the kitchen in modern, everything is fresh and new, and the master bedroom is quite large with a very comfortable bed. The apartment is quiet, a real plus, even though the bedroom faces the street, and it's full of light, with beautiful views from the living and dining area. Internet and TV worked flawlessly, and the heating was adjustable to suit our preferences. the only small cavil is that there is no good reading lamp, either at the bedside or in the living room. That could be easily remedied. Also note that the flat is on the third floor, so anyone who can't take stairs can't stay here. I will be very glad to return.
We stayed for four days during the Fringe in this attractive flat and wish we had discovered it before. The booking process was very easy: Richard responded promptly to emails, met us on arrival as arranged and ensured we were settled in. We found the flat’s position perfect for reaching everything on foot, while offering a quiet and inviting place to rest at the end of a busy day. We loved the light aspect and the spectacular view across to Calton hill, which we saw at its best, given the unusually warm and sunny weather (I have attached a photo taken from the window in the early morning). The window on the Royal Mile even gave us an excellent view of the Tattoo fireworks on a couple of occasions.
The flat itself was very well equipped and we had no problem catering for ourselves on those occasions when we wanted to eat in; in fact, we had most meals there. In addition to cleaning materials and food staples (oil, seasoning, tea, herbs etc), Richard had provided such thoughtful extras as bread, eggs, fruit juice, wine and shortbread.
Kitchen equipment and shower worked well, beds were comfortable and wi-fi was excellent. Plentiful information was provided, both about the flat and its contents and about the shops, sights and services in the surrounding area. We would happily stay there again and look forward to doing so.
