We stayed only one night amd has only one breakfast. Yet, the helpfulness, good spirit amd advise of the hosta were just great! Would most definitely recommend the place. It is bery tasfilly designed, nothing that is unnecessary, but makes you feel home. We stayed at several places during the trip to Scotland, but here we found the best bed amd the best pillows)! Location is also good- tool around 15 min to reach Carlton Hill by walking. The neighbourhood is full of pubs and restaurants, most likely frequented by locals rather than tourists.

Our second visit to Edinburgh and Ramsay's, simply wouldn't look to stay anywhere else. This time we brought friends / family who loved it as much as we did. Immaculate rooms and public areas but in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Sharon and Norrie are great hosts with a great knowledge of the cities highlights. Breakfast is great, genuine variety of excellent product. We will be back to Edinburgh and Ramsay's as soon as we can find an excuse.

I just returned from a trip to Scotland. I stayed at Ramsay's for 4 nights. I can't say enough about how great Sharon and Norrie were. They were so helpful with suggestions and made me feel very welcome.

The place is immaculately clean and the attention to detail was amazing. Breakfast was excellent with more choices than you would probably expect.

This B&B inspired me to write my first tripadvisor review. So that should tell you something too.

We spent three nights in Ramsay's B&B room 3. It was exceptionally clean and still it was cleaned every day. The breakfast menu was really good. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, the place felt like home. Sharon and Norrie are great hosts.

We have just returned from a weekend stay in Edinburgh, we had seen Ramsay's on Channel 4's Four in a bed and decided to book a couple of nights stay there as the reviews from the show were great, we were not disappointed.
The B&B is immaculately clean and well appointed. Norrie is very attentive and accommodating and he couldn't do enough for us.
We will definitley recommend this to our friends and family and could not have asked for more.
Thank you

Our room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and serviced unobtrusively each day we stayed. The atmosphere was relaxed and convivial. Sharon and Norrie gave us a very warm welcome, treating us as long lost friends, and gave extensive recommendations for places to eat and suggestions as to tourist activities.

The location of the B&B could not be better for a tourist trip - it is on the edge of the city centre, and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. That said, there was no traffic noise in our room or in the breakfast room which fronted the street. The bed and bedding were comfortable and we had everything we needed in the room. Having a sweetie tray and water cooler in the corridor outside the rooms is a great touch & lifted it above other B&Bs we have stayed in.

We will definitely re-visit, as 3 days was not long enough to do Edinburgh justice.
