Great resort. Quad biking instructor brilliant. Chloe in the restaurant very friendly and so nice to our party. Would definitely make a return visit and would recommend this resort to friends. The lodge accommodation was first class.very clean and well equipped.

Booked the muirloch lodge for 4 nights. On arrival thrilled at how lovely the lodge was. Hot tub spotless. Plenty to do if you want to be bothered. Food reasonable same for the price. Surprised at it only being £3.30 for a pint of tenants.
My only complaint would be the tea-towel I wouldn't have washed my kitchen floor with it....DISGUSTING
Also lots of pot holes down lanes to the lodges

Just back from a weekend break here, we originally booked an osprey plus but on arrival were upgraded free of charge to eagle exec :-) , 5 en suite bedrooms, all gorgeous and clean, the sauna and hot tub were also great. The living / dining / kitchen is open plan upstairs and a great sized space but the cleaning could have been better, the bin did not close and glad i took my own teatowels as the ones provided were gross also the dining table was sticky, the chairs had been stacked on it to clean the floor and not taken down, nothing a good wipe didn't sort but wld expect better cleaning for 4 stars. We never really had any problems with noise from neighbouring lodges which I expecting with 2 being Vegas lodges. Also as per previous posts remember ur dishwasher tablets / dish cloths and extra toilet rolls etc as there is no onsite shop.

The restaurant / bar was not too bad value, food okay nice outdoor seating with view to soak up the good weather. Hired the tennis court and equipment which was ok value and some balls on the driving range, also ok value.

All staff were friendly considering previous reviews, the receptionists I came across were great and helpful.

All in all a good stay fab to be upgraded but right now there's no way I would pay what they ask for an eagle exec lodge, clean up better, add some wifi in lodges and towels included and maybe would!

Booked an Eagle Executive for a family holiday. The resort itself is lovely, peace and quiet, fantastic. We had a couple of issues with the lodge, ie one of the balconies was filthy and although there were plenty of table lamps in the living area none of them had working bulbs in them. On a positive note when these issues were reported they were dealt with in less than 30 minutes. Some of the furnishings were a liitle bit shabby but on the whole lodge was very comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was great and although I didnt use the sauna those in the party who did thought it was great. There were plenty of utensils and crockery in the kitchen and the washing machine and dish washer were well used by us. Luckily were aware that we had to supply our own towels and cleaning materials and arrived well supplied. I did feel that having to pay for electricity was a very negative point as we paid £2000.00 for a weeks stay.I realise that some people may take advantage if power was free, but perhaps an initial £50 credit supplied by the resort would be a solution. The activities are expensive and if you have kids over 8 years of age, the minimum age for the activities, be prepared to spend, spend, spend. One of my grandsons is only 4 and to be honest there was little for him to do, swimming pool was ok and there is a playpark which to is really pretty poor given the size of the resort, There were loads of younger kids staying there and I feel they should offer more for them ie an adventure play park, soft play area or some sort of kids club .Nonetheless he had a great time running around in general and feeding the ducks every day. The lounge bar is nice, with drinks reasonably priced, but feel that the food is a bit overpriced. The staff were all very nice and a special mention to the guy who came most days to check the hot tub, he had a nice word for everybody and even tried to help us out with a car seat for my youngest grandson. To summarise, the kids were happy, most of the time !!!, it is bit expensive but on the whole we had a good time.

Just returned from a family break Monday-Friday with adults and children. We stayed in the Vegas lodge and other family members stayed in the osprey lodge sleeping 6.
First impression: lovely looking golf area.
Lots of building work. Diggers, etc.
Vegas lodge: very big. Spacious. Plenty of room for us all. Loved the snooker table and open plan
Dining. Beautiful.

Complaints: livingroom etc on top floor.. When we entered one of the safety latches on the window was broken. Very dangerous. Fluid of some sort spilled down the wall and not cleaned, leather sofa torn. As the bedrooms are downstairs. It's very difficult to sleep, the noise from above was terrible. Light switch in bottom bedroom broken. Light in utility room broken.

Worse of all... Of all 16 of us, no one had a mobile signal, all with various networks. No phone line in either villa, which means anytime we had an issue we had to drive to the reception to report it. Again, feel its not great as we could not phone takeaway or if any emergency occurs, we did not have a phone.

Entertainment: zero.

There are several things you can prebook such as quads (£45 per adult) etc. but no family entertainment,

We left the resort everyday to visit Dundee/ St. Andrews etc.

Bins were not emptied during our visit, leading to seagulls pulling mess everywhere.

Overall: isolated resort. Will not return. Will not recommend.

Just back from Vegas executive lodge at Piperdam with our two daughters and their husbands and our three grandchildren. It was delightful we had so much room and fun to offer we invited our nephew, his girlfriend and son to enjoy our experience and then our son n law went for his mum n dad to stay for two nights. We never once banged in to each other. Everyone had their own bedroom and en suite and we all had an absolute ball. We will definitely be going back.

Room Tip: We have been to two different lodge so depending on how many are going would determine the size of l...

We had an enjoyable stay in a muirloch lodge for 4 nights. The lodge was clean and spacious. The only thing I think they are missing is wifi in the lodges. We had a meal in the restaurant once. The setting is beautiful however I would say the food was average. Overall though we had a very good time
