Excellent cafe and small shop located near carpark outwith the actual gardens.
Many people choose to just visit the cafe.
Extensive menu all day long from the first bacon roll.
Some meal deals on offer eg soup and a sandwich.
Very friendly and attentive staff.
But - can get very busy at times

Didn't dislike anything !! The hot houses were fab and unbelievably hot ! Seemed to be a lot of cars in the car park but really didn't see anyone while wandering around .Lots of quiet places to sit in the sun .

Catriona and I spent our wedding anniversary afternoon walking around the Botanic Gardens.
They are a jewel in Dundee's west end and a credit to the University who maintain them.
Such variety and yet not too extensive nor expensive.
We concluded our visit with a soft drink each in the cafe. Not bad at all!!!!!!!!
Tearlach
