We visit Dil Se regularly, probably around once a month, and have been eating here since 2007.
This is authentic Bangladeshi & Indian food of a very high standard. The presentation is very good and the main courses are brought out on a nice serving trolley. Our favourite dishes are the Pathan chicken, green herb chicken, as well as the Ceylon & Pathia curries. The naans are the best I've ever tasted; the peshwari is stuffed with sweet coconut and pistachios, and the plain is also different to the usual dry, crispier naan usually served. I would even recommend the pompadoms, the chilli pickle is a must!
The restaurant is immaculate and the staff are very attentive without being intrusive. I am surprised at other reviewers saying they felt uncomfortable in the restaurant; yes, it is a large dining room and at some times it can often look a bit empty but the staff have never made us feel uncomfortable. The toilets are even worth mentioning; they are extremely clean and it is clear that the staff take great care of all of the areas in the restaurant.
