Have been many times before, very enjoyable. This time was still very good. Busy&great atmosphere, live music. But the food wasn't quite as good as its been before. The chicken was quite dry and the spicy potatoes were a bit mushy. Still overall very good & brilliant value for money. Just think it needs tweaked a little to maintain the standards. Will be back again though :)

Having only ever been to Gracie's during the day for coffee or lunch on several occasions, some friends and I decided to try it in the evening. We were greeted by the restaurant owner/manager who promptly had us seated and a waitress was on hand to get our drinks. The menu was explained and was very good value - 5 different mixed courses for £14.95. The restaurant was clearly very busy- all tables were full but the service was prompt and the staff were helpful and polite. The restaurant had a real atmosphere to it and the live musician played a variety of music which was enjoyed by all guests. The most enjoyable course for me was the chorizo and red wine although all were well presented and tasty. By the end of our meal we were all very full, we asked the waitress if the menu was the same every night, and were delighted to hear that the menu was changing to offer choice and variety of courses. The cocktails are also a must!

Went here with my fiance for my birthday on fri nite. Had never been but read reviews an saw they were pretty mixed mostly good so decided to try (as the tapas bar was fully booked!) what a dissapointment! Food was awful! As each course came it got worse. We had to ask for fresh plates as were using the same plate for the past 3courses! 1napkin was given and as tapas is most finger food it got messy. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled after waiting 20mins with an empty glass even tho the place was dead. Dont go here if u expect a half decent meal! Only good course was the meatballs but with a dirty plate each course tasted of meatball sauce! Also were given 1measly prawn each... Which was way overcooked. The paella was the worst course. Couldnt even eat it was so dry! The food was without doubt the worst ive had eating out!

Two courses for under £9! Good menu with a number of choices, which made deciding difficult. Having chosen,we were haappy to eat each course. Mine was a spicy Kebab, followed by a chillli chicken salad. There was fish and chips, chilli con carne, curries and salads and lots more. The service was good and theplace is clean and welcoming. When we went, the clientele was of an older age group, but a few weeks later, Ireturned with daughter and boyfriend and they both loved it. In the evening, this is the time to go for a good sekection of tapas.Have recommended it to my friends.

I went to Gracie's with a friend from out of town on 22nd December. We had not booked and were lucky to get a table.
The waitress explained that there was a set tapas menu (12 dishes in total at a cost of £14.95 per head) which would be brought out in succession as we were ready. These included a mix of cold meats, vegetarian, chorizo, lamb, potato and fish dishes.
All were presented well and it was a great way to sample dishes which I might not otherwise have tried. We also had 2 bottles of wine between us taking our total bill to £60, which I felt was very reasonable given the amount of food that had been served.
Service was good and the ambience was lovely. The live piano player added a subtle bit of class.
Most enjoyable evening, look forward to returning.
