Jimmy Chungs arrived amidst much excitement and enthusiasm almost a decade ago, but over the years has lost its appeal, and standards have declined. The decor (interior, particularly) has seen better days, and general cleanliness does not appear as good as it could be.
The food selection is not as wide and varied as it used to be, despite a reasonable footfall of customers. While restaurant-quality chinese food cooked to order can be very tasty and exciting, sadly, this mass-fried offering, which sits in a giant bain-marie for hours on end is generally luke-warm and congealed. Disgusting at worst, mediocre and bland at best.
Staff are usually quiet, but efficient. Not much in the way of interaction with the customers, but I've never found them to be especially "rude" as cited elsewhere. However, I have witnessed some rather anti-social customers in the past - this is by no means the place to go for a romantic meal!
The nearby City Harbour is a better prospect if you really feel the need to have an all-you-can-eat Chinese meal, but neither are any great shakes. Perhaps it's time for this format to be revised, as I have noticed all establishments of these types are declining in standards and popularity.
