Without a doubt one of the best museums we have been to. The Discovery point displays were excellent and the ship itself amazing. Fantastic value.

This is well worth the visit, it is visually stunning in a focal waterfront position, very good historical facts. There is no free parking however metered parking is available nearby at a reasonable cost

I am interested in the history of South Pole exploration so this was a must visit for me. It didn’t disappoint with lots of information about Scott’s first expedition. The trip around the boat is fascinating and the realisation that so much coal to power the engines had to be taken was revelatory

This was the highlight of our short stay in Dundee. It’s a great little museum and tells a great story of the Antarctic trip.

Visited on a showery Thursday and on first reflection thought it was a little expensive . However it turned out to be extremely good - good films and displays of the sheer bravery the men faced, and the ship itself was fantastic. This deserves a huge lottery grant to keep the maintenance up.
Spent a good 3 hours here . Recommended to all
