Went here for breakfast as hotel had no spare tables and we didn't fancy waiting. Good food, freshly cooked breakfast was very tasty. Great view of the Tay - would recommend for a leisurely way to start the day

Visited on a Saturday lunch time, chose here because we could sit outside in the sunshine overlooking the Tay.
Food was generously sized, myself and a friend had the Club sandwich which we could have shared as neither of us finished it! However the pub was let down by poor service, our food tooke nearly 45 mins to get to us and I had to enquire where it had got too especially as it was only a sandwich!! We were brought an extra portion of chips though because of the very long wait but due to the good portion size we couldn't manage it anyway!!
Would recommend visiting for your usual pub grub.

Me, my husband and 3 children (aged 4, 2 and 1) heard good reviews from my husbands work pals so decided to go. We weren't disappointed! We ordered 2 children's meals, 1 tomato penne pasta and 1 chicken goujons which came with 2 side orders. Me and my husband both went for things off the daily specials menus and were happy with the portion sizes and the food was delicious. We all ended up with desserts. The total price was just over £33. We will defo be going back!

Out for an afternoon's drive and stopped to admire the RRS Discovery, which is moored/dry-docked alongside the restaurant of the same name. We just had a starter and main from the daily special menu but all I can say is that it filled a hole that needed filling. Service and drinks were good but nothing really stood out to entice us back. We often go a few miles east to Broughty Ferry where we have fish'n chips which we eat next to the harbour and castle. Sorry but we won't be back in a hurry.

Ideal location close to what will be a wonderful waterfront but give this a miss. Sunday evening, no atmosphere, food bland, service just OK. will not be back, its part of a chain and standards have dropped since last visit approx 2 years ago.
