a friend and I were shopping in Dundee and decided to go for Dinner. I had heard during the week that this place was a little gem and to try it.

With views looking over the river Tay the restaurant is very spacious and bright. The meals were excellent and the service was second to none.

Well done, We will be back

I have visited this restaurant twice in the last couple of weeks, once for dinner and once for lunch. Dinner was lovely and filling and just slightly above what you would pay for food in a 'chain' restaurant. Lunch was also good, I opted for a different choice from the main meal section. I feel there could be slightly more options as if you were to visit frequently there would not be a huge choice, however I presume the menu will change every so often. The only other thing I noticed was the inconsistency in staff attitude between the members of staff; one waitress was excellent and very cheerful and another looked as if she would rather be anywhere else on the planet. Overall though, very good and definitely worth a visit.

An unexpected find in Dundee, alongside the river with easy parking. It would be fair to say the menu is not extensive, but there is an adequate choice and what is there is excellent. The soup on the day of our visit, white onion and garlic, was superb, served with an interesting choice of sandwiches, super bread and generously filled. The atmosphere was lovely and staff were friendly without being overly familiar. Certainly hope to return before too long.

We have been going regularly for lunch which is always good. Decided to try dinner with friends. reasonable choice and request for no chips and salad was met with a no problem. One element of a dish was not cooked but the rest was good. A request just to let the chef know was met with a apology and the course not charged for! How often does that happen nowadays. having recently done a Michelin Star restaurant for 4 with little change from £500, this was welcome meal for 4 with wine for less than £85. Give me this with the views as well.
