A vast selection of merchandise , all reasonably priced , not over priced as you see in some tourist attractions

Excellent, professional and very friendly staff made the wedding service extremely personal. We were given plenty of time for photo's. It was a very special day.

This was a quick stop - and our first across the border as we embarked on a Tartan Tour and road-tripped around the lowlands and highlands. Came here years ago as a kid - and as many things have stayed the same - there have been changes - some good and some bad. The landscaping of the area is better - and the romantic statues and sculptures of lovers entwined bring a nice touch to the place. As with all tourist hotspots - the "other stuff" just gets bigger but not necessarily better - the Car Park / Coach Park and the restaurants, supermarket (food hall) - and the many many souvenir shops. These are what let it down. However - do stop if you can - just to see what all the fuss is about.

Thanks for the review and we're glad to hear that you've returned to see us after your last visit.

We're a little sorry to read some other comments and assure you that any changes/updates we've made to the site are to ensure all our visitors get the best experience when they arrive. We don't thnk our large, free car park lets us down, in fact it's something most people comment on as being a 'rare thing' nowadays ;)

We hope to see you back again one day!

Cheers!

I got married in Gretne Green in 1997 my husband died 5 yrs ago and this was a visit to "close some doors" after going inside my friend and I sat in the sunshine and a member of staff asked us if we would be witness to a wedding we said yes and this was the icing on the cake for me.. more happy memories.. .. there are many shops and a large cafe now with lots of outside seating and plenty of parking.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're sorry to hear of your loss and hope you did indeed 'close some doors' upon your return to us. It sounds like you had an emotional day but that you enjoyed it and for that we are glad...

We wish you all the best for the future.

Lovely site for passing a couple of hours as a tourist. Great venue to be married or attend a wedding. Friendly staff & there is a nearby shopping center that accommodates all ages.
Well connected by road infrastructure & easy access to Cumbria, Northumberland & The Lakes.
