Beautiful castle, yet with the feeling of a family home. Steeped in history. Excellent pplay facilities for children, faclonery show, beautiful gardens restored to their origional designs
Small art and craft village. Bike hire, wonderful walks through grounds. Good cafe

Short and longer walks, depending on ability ! Although it was closed for the season, it did not detract from the fact it is a very lovely castle. The grounds are well maintained and the sheep did not seem to mind our dogs sharing their surroundings with them.

Beautiful castle and grounds and our guide was very helpful. My only gripe was that we couldn't find our way into the tea room but had a snack in the stable yard instead.

A sight to behold. A must see/visit. We loved the stone work and the gardens. As well as the tower clock and beautiful hiking trails and loch.Nothing there will displease.
