Four of us stayed 3 nights while visiting Dumfries for a family wedding. Hazeldean was recommended by my sister as she lives around the corner and I'm very happy we took her advice. Lovely rooms full of character with hosts (Billy and Wilma) happy to share their local knowledge and anecdotes. The B&B is easy walking distance to the town centre and there is free off-street parking. A full Scottish breakfast is served in a sunny conservatorium overlooking an award-winning garden. All in all it was great value for money. When I'm back in Dumfries I'll be staying at Hazeldean again.
