I have been here a few times and has been a hit and miss. paninnis tend to be under cooked as fillings such as the brie isnt melted enuf. My last visit was a bit of a dissapointment. Asked for a slice of sticky toffee loaf and when it was brought, you would think lt had been sliced with a razor blade!! Rip off for 2 quid..
I will return as they do a mean cappucino but wont be ordering any more cake!!

Had heard a lot about D'nisi from other friends, and we weren't disappointed when we visited. Relaxing atmosphere and great varied menu. Staff (a mixture of old and young) were very friendly, especially our young waiter Simon who went out of his way to help us with the menu and coffee as we couldn't decide what to order. We will be back !!

Today we held our first Coffee - -Commerce networking meeting in D'Nisi in Alloa.
The staff made us feel very welcome and could not do enough to meet our needs. The service is excellent and the coffee and bacon rolls are first class. This coffee shop/restaurant is perfectly placed in the centre of the town and, although quiet at 8 o'clock in the morning, is buzzing throughout the rest of the day. Thankyou to all the staff, looking forward to a great working relationship. I have visited at other times and would recommend D'Nisi in Alloa at any time of day. Comfortable surroundings, good food and beverages and great service - what more could we want? A real asset to a small and bustling town.

Always hard to know how many stars to give. In my case it's relative to the local competition. And as cafes in this area go, D'Nisi is the best I've found.

We'd cycled there and had hardly walked in the door when we were asked if we'd locked our bikes securely and if not we could bring them into an alcove in the cafe. And the personal attention carried on throught the meal.

The food was nice, although to be honest, not exceptional. It was nicely presented, arrived fairly quickly and offered a nice Spanish/North African twist to the usual offerings of panini etc.

The cafe seemed popular with families, with babies mostly at the back (near the toilets/baby change) and couples at the front. Prices very reasonable.

Nice cakes too.
