We stayed with our youngest son age 6 whilst dropping his older brother at summer camp near by. Booked this hotel on the back of other reviews and we can only add more of the same. Chris called on the Friday night to check how old Cameron was and when we arrived he had left sweeties with the tea and coffee! The room was spotless and the decor was modern but classic. The power shower was out of this world :) The Inn itself is brilliant its a proper pub and you can tell it is really well looked after, not a spot of dust anywhere, we even saw someone watering the hanging baskets at 8am Sunday morning. The breakfast was amazing especially the black pudding. We can't wait to return with both boys later this year.

Room Tip: We had room 5 which was massive if you have kids

Weekend break in the borders with one night at the Neidpath Inn 15/7/12 . What a surprise lies behind this exterior. Comfortable and Spacious bedrooms with en suite and spotless. Chose to have our evening meal as well as breakfast , food was fabulous and generous, sticky toffee pudding was just amazing! Breakfast was enormous with selection of morning papers provided.
Superb host , nothing is too much trouble, friendly and helpfull. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definately stay again . Highly recommended

I decided to have a quick break in the Borders and came across the Neidpath Inn, well what a surprise, clean rooms and en-suite and just a great location. Chris just couldn't do enough and even arranged my fishing! The bar and food are great and actually has the best terrace in the whole of Peebles.
Breakfasts are served at whatever time you want and is certainly enough to fill you for the whole day, My stay was just what I needed and just wait for an invitation to go fishing again and I will defiantly stay at the Neidpath...well done to Chris and the team and a special thanks to Stewart the Gillie for helping me to catch my first Tweed Salmon!
If you are looking for a place to stay in Peebles, don't miss out...stay at the Neidpath Inn!

The food was great and plentiful. Brekki was huge and tasty with loads of fresh coffee and orange juice. Our bedroom was a really good size and everything was spotless. Add to this bike storage and good beers, what more could you ask for? Well, friendly, attentive staff. Many thanks Chris, the next time we are at Glentress then there is only one place we'll be looking to come back to. Some people may think that £40pppn is a little steep but I personally think that this was tremendous value.

Good place to eat. Nice atmosphere. Eat and drink here about once a week and choose here over everywhere else in Peebles for a decent, consistent, value for money meal. Always have a decent malt of the month too! Beer is nice, pipes cleaned weekly........oh and the black lab is lovely:)

The beds were so comfortable, rooms were a really good size and clean.
The host was extremely welcoming and friendly.
Next door the pub was warm and welcoming, it seems to be a real locals spot and everybody inside was very friendly and happy to talk with the guests of the b&b.
They are very well equipped for bikers, being so close to Glentress and Innerleithen it was great to see, with a secure bike locker and a bike wash, I would fully recommend for anyone who is thinking of traveling to the Peebles area to seriously consider staying here.
I have already booked another weekend stay.
Many thanks.
