This guest house is like no other guest house I have ever stayed in! From the moment your greeted by Donna the wonderful owner of this magnificent home your transformed into fantastic sense of warmth & well-being.

The forma Bank is a marvellous building that has been decorated to a very high standard. Donna makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast is cooked to order and the bacon is superb. They don't offer evening meals but I highly recommend Sergio's Italian restaurant just a few minutes walk in this beautiful town.

Steamed in history Hawick has weaving mills everywhere and most are still operating. Rivers & underground rivers everywhere that would have produced the energy to operate the machinery 100's of years ago.

Hawick is set in the beautiful mountains of Scotland. I would highly recommend a visit to the town & surrounding area and you must stay at the Bank Guest House but book early!!!!

Room Tip: Book early before travelling!

Stayed at The Bank after a visit to Kelso races. The front of the building looks exactly what it is ...an old bank, but what a pleasant surprise inside. We had a beautifully decorated en-suite room, modern design and really comfortable bed, freeview TV, tea making facilities, if fact every thing you might need.

Donna has a "text your breakfast requirements" facility so that your breakfast is freshly cooked in the oven at the exact time you reach the dining room and what a tasty breakfast it was.

I can definitely recommend The Bank.

We were doing a little tour of Scotland last June, ending up in Hawick which was my Mother's home town, so a bit of a trip down memory lane.

We stayed for three nights at the Old Bank. What a lovely building, decorated beautifully by Donna who unfortunately we didn't meet as she was away for a few days.

However, the hotel had been placed in the capable hands of Jennifer who looked after us very well, was interesting to talk to and who cooked us delicious breakfasts!

Our stay in Hawick was really enhanced by our stay here and the history of the town is so interesting and the surrounding countryside so beautiful.

Hawick could really do with a nice place to eat in the evenings though - how about it!!!

My Husband & I stayed here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It is quite simply the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The room was extremely comfortable, very spacious, good quality bed, bedding & pillows, immaculately clean modern bathroom with large shower. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very quiet. They have a good choice of breakfast menu which is cooked to order, the porridge is "to die for"! The building is in the main street of Hawick & has a private car park to the rear. Nothing is too much bother for the owner, Donna, who is very friendly & attentive. We had a fantastic weekend & will definitely return.

Was in Hawick with business last summer and used Bank Guesthouse.
Rooms are great, and parking out the back is very handy. The guesthouse is situated on the main street in Hawick.
I will use Bank guesthouse every time I am in Hawick and have recommended the place to all my work colleagues.

I stayed here whilst on business in Hawick. This is a very clean well managed place with an excellent breakfast and friendly host.
On site parking is a bonus.
The room I stayed in was very accomodating, comfortable and warm with plenty of space.
If my work brings me back here again I will definately stay here again!

Thank you.
