“A house to wrap you up in luxurious comfort.”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The chocolate cake in the glass cake stand awaiting you on arrival sums up the thoughtfulness which pervaded our visit. The rooms are beautifully decorated throughout with Anta furnishings. The kitchen has every conceivable utensil and gadget and the bathrooms have luxurious soaps and lotions and thick white towels. There is ample space to spread out, with two sitting areas. Even visiting dogs arr provided with a comfy bed and clean shiny bowls. Two large flat screened tellies with DVD players kept the young entertained. A good range of DVDs and books were on offer. The woodburning stove was thoroughly cosy. The only sound you might hear is the hooting of an owl or the bleating of a lamb at bedtime. Comfy beds and crisp white sheets were just the ticket for deep, uninterrupted sleep.

“You won't regret booking!”
Reviewed March 17, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Absolutely bowled over with this property. It is superb. So much attention to detail, quality furnishings and decor, warm welcome.

So many things that normally need to be brought with you are provided. All the bathrooms come with hand-wash, shower gel and hand lotion. There are complimentary towels, dressing gowns and hairdryers. All of which makes packing easier. The kitchen is large and stocked with all the mod cons. It was a joy to cook/bake in.

Already planning a return trip.

“Top-drawer accommodation and surroundings.”
Reviewed November 27, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

This is by far the best property we have been to on all our many visits to Scotland. Extremely well equipped, loads of space, peaceful location, family friendly but also perfect for our group. We all loved it.

“Fantastic weekend stay”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We stayed in Dignity for a 3 night girls weekend and I must say it is one of the nicest/best equipped/attention to detail houses we have stayed in (and there have been numerous)
The house itself is furnished to a very high standard and the extra touches like bread/milk and a home baked cake waiting for us on arrival were well received.
The point of our girls weekend is to kick back, relax and unwind for a few days and I can safely say that we all managed to do that very easily, helped by the beautiful countyside surrounding Dignity house.

Loved it and would thoroughally recommend!!

“Superb property with very stylish decor”
Reviewed October 12, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Super property, fantastic design both structurally and furnishings, very, very comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space. Not the biggest of garden spaces by any means and in close proximity to 2 other properties but laid out in such a manner that it felt isolated with no overlooking and very private. Great location with great walks close by and plenty of villages and towns but a relatively short distance away. Every amenity provided and very friendly, helpful owner. Faultless!

“I have to agree!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

I did have concerns about staying in a converted barn in a remote village outside Galashiels, together with my wife, my son, his partner and her family. However, the experience was wonderful and whilst it is a tad expensive, split between everyone and bearing in mind the quality of furnishings etc, it does represent good value.
Location is perfect for all the surrounding villages, walks, bike hire/rides just outside Peebles and Edinburgh just 45 miles away.
Everyone in the party felt the same and I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for a large family holiday with a difference.

“Fabulous”

As a family we have stayed in quite a lot of self catering houses from Cornwall to the New Forest to Yorkshire Dales. This house is by far the best we have stayed in. The owners have spent a lot of time and money to create the perfect holiday rental. The surrounding is peaceful, the views amazing. We were warmly welcomed and felt immediately at home. During our stay we visited Edinburgh (a shorter drive than I thought) and cycled in nearby Peebles. I thoroughly recommend this home and will most definately will return (which is a first)
