“Little piece of paradise”
Reviewed September 26, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a fantastic week at Crosple Cottage. It is beautifully appointed, cosy, clean and complete with everything you need. The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed having our meals watching the sheep and looking out over the loch. The owners have thoughtfully put together lots of information on the surrounding areas, including details of walks from the cottage which were lovely. It was good to meet Rory and Jennie, both were friendly, warm and the welcome(and delicious!) home made cake and a bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Being able to arrange a groceries delivery so that the cottage was stocked when we arrived was a real bonus, and anything else we needed was easy to get in Oban, which is a short drive, has a good butcher and fish and chips.

We didn't want to leave - staying at Crosple Cottage was like a perfect bubble and we hugely enjoyed this little piece of paradise. No doubt we will return - it felt like a real home from home.

What a truly wonderful place. The setting is stunning. If you need peace and quiet you get plenty of that . It would be easy just to lounge around here for days. There is also lots to do round and about if you are feeling like being more active . The cottage is equipped with everything you'll need including those little extras such as bathrobes and toiletries Also fresh flowers, cake and wine to greet you.Don't bring CD's or DVD's,the Smart TV has lots to keep you entertained and there are well stocked book shelves too.
The friendly and helpful owners live nearby should you need them.
We spent a fabulous week here and would highly recommend.

We loved every moment of our stay in this remote, yet tastefully decorated cottage. It was fully equipped with every modern appliance and electronic device you could ever want. Beautiful scenery and views are in abundance. Lovely walks right at your doorstep. Great hospitality was on hand from the moment we arrived to the time of our departure. A great place to relax, unwind and escape the daily challenges of life...

“Stunning!”

We came across Crosple Cottage quite by accident and how glad are we that we did! We booked to stay for 4 nights over the new year period to recharge our batteries. We were warmly met by Jennie on arrival, who showed us around the cottage. There had been some trouble at the time with internet connections which meant we were unable to access emails and Netflix on the tv. Jennie was most apologetic about it and even offered the use of her own home if we needed to access any emails etc. Rory later brought a dad player as we had brought some DVDs to watch. In the kitchen they had left a bottle of wine and some home made cake....delish! The cottage is beautiful, finished to a high standard with beautiful accessories. They have thought of everything, from the welcoming log fire to the sheer comfort of the bed (best nights sleep we've had for a long time). We felt very much at home....so much so that we didn't want to leave. The view from every window is simply breathtaking. The weather was none too kind during our stay but that didn't dampen the beauty of the surroundings, from the reflections on the loch to the golden browns, yellows and reds of the surrounding hills...it is simply stunning no matter what the weather is. It was with a heavy heart that we left the little cottage but with a promise to return. A sheer delight to have stayed here and such warm welcoming hosts.
