“Tralee Segway Centre”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

Would recommend everyone to visit this wonderful Centre situated on the edge of Benderloch. The Segways were amazing and the instructor Ken was wonderful especially when he had to deal with 3 hormonal females approaching their prime time in life. Was very apprehensive of getting onboard the machines but once on I didn't want to come off. Definitely for all age groups. The terrain and scenes were amazing and I had the time of my life. Please take time to visit this centre as you will not want to leave.

“GO ON - HAVE A GIGGLE!!”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

Thought twice about this activity however our teenage kids were keen to have a crack at it and I,m so glad we went ahead and booked it. Of note, Ken and his family make a real effort to make the experience a positive one and there are a good few laughs to be had as you learn to handle the Segway. Laurie acted as our guide and once content that we could stay upright, we ventured 'off site' into woodland, grassed banks and tarmac tracks. As a family, especially with teenage kids it is often difficult to find an activity that you can all participate in and enjoy however this proved to be a real hit, especially 'Dad' falling off!! if you're stuck for something to do, even in poor weather, don,t hesitate - go on and have a good ol family giggle.

“Adventure on two wheels”
Reviewed June 9, 2012

Tha guys at Tralee are both welcoming and knowledgable. Good safety briefing and equipment in a low key friendly fashion. They're accomodating with photos and will video you in action if you want. Initial field course is good fun as you learn and gain confidence, easily picked up. The trip out was a little short but nevertheless fun through the trees. If there is one nagging point is the price. Not really long enough for the money and the trip out could taken in a few more sights. Generally a fun outdoor day which can be enjoyed in all weathers and teen family friendly.

“segwaytastic!”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

we were in the area for a long weekend of walks and cycling but when we spotted the segway centre sign we couldn't resist having a go! Ken was excellent and explained how the machines worked (initially they feel a bit alarming), and after a few minutues we were zipping about like a pair of pros! The segways are chunky beasts, able to go over very rough ground, but we built up to this on easy tracks and grass before venturing out on to rougher tracks and eventually through beautiful but rough woodland. I would add that it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE to fall off a segway. Great experience.
