Whenever we are in Oban we try to pop into this little gem. It does not look much from outside, and the décor isn't Harrods, but the friendliness of the owner and the jazz music and good food make up for it.
if you want a plain and simple sunday roast like granny used to make , any day of the week, pop in here and you wont be disappointed.
That's it, good food, decent helping, great music, nice ambiance.
And it is good value for money. Oh and they do other meals as well and great homemade puds !

Fantastic place to eat. Great service. Great food. Great prices. Finding this place added to the enjoyment of our holiday. Soup and pudding deal was ideal for my elderly parents who find 3 courses too much.
Will definitely eat here next time im in Oban

Some of the best food and friendly atmosphere in the town of Oban. Also dog friendly. Magic, because there is not many people whom welcome dogs. The music is very good joice by Sid who will also sit down and have a cuppa and chat with you.

We had driven from Annandale to Oban, desperate for the loo, not knowing where we were going and turned up this little side road, one space left to park outside this small, must say didn't look that good as no one in it, café! However, needs must and we went in, well surprised, so friendly and welcoming. Food was good, couldn't have been more helpful and we learnt quite a bit about the local area etc. By the time we left the place was full up. Definitely worth visiting, will definitely go back if we ever up that way again.

Found this cafe to have the best beef burgers and homemade chips like granny used to make. Doesnt look much at the front but once inside the best food have tasted in a long time and extremeley reasonable.Owner very friendly and welcoming and the music chilling. Will definately be recommending to anyone visiting Oban looking for tasty homemade food. Lorna and Jim.
