We spent two nights at the guesthouse in late July. The accommodations are first class and the breakfast is delicious. All freshly prepared by Howard the host and owner. What makes this place special is Howard's warm welcome and genuine desire to help you make the most out of your stay. He had visits recommendations, restaurants suggestions and insightful information on local sightseeing options. The guesthouse has an agreement with the hotel literally next door to allow patrons at the guesthouse to use the hotel's pool, hot-tub and other amenities if you have time to spare between the visits are other local attractions. Definitely a place to recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and were most impressed with everything about Rudha-na-craige. Very spacious and a good standard of facilites. The breakfasts offered so many choices that all tastes and requirements were covered. Welcoming hosts easy to speak to and with good advice on local restaurants. We definitely recommend it to others.

A perfect B&B to stop for our first two nights in Scotland. A five star room and a easy walk to see the attractions and to dine in various restaurants. Great view of the lock!
Thank you.

This stands head and shoulders above the traditional guest house. Howard and Susan are warm and attentive hosts who go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. The rooms, we booked Shira and Glendaruel, are tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The beds were particularly comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - the Loch Fyne kippers were delicious. Excellent value for a top-notch guest house.

Susan and Howard were wonderful hosts. Room was spectacular and breakfast was excellent. The view of the Loch and surrounding countryside were amazing. Wish we could have spent more than one night here!

Howard was most welcoming into his fine home. This is a dramatic building full of history. The room was well appointed with all the facilities needed including a comfortable bed. The bonus is the fantastic view over Loch Fyne.
Howard is very well informed and was able to make many recommendations in terms of places to go/eat etc. He has gone to great trouble to arrange discounts at local places - so make sure you pick up all the discount cards he has

This is a lovely guesthouse, smartly and tastefully converted from a rather grand family home that has retained its character and has a superb location overlooking the loch. Easy to find along the loch-side road within easy walking distance of Inveraray centre. The double room on the top floor I stayed in was really well appointed, comfortable and with everything just right. Lovely view over the loch from a cute little window seat. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and obviously has put a lot into making this a great place to stay. A bonus is the free use of the spa at the nearby Loch Fyne Hotel and there are discounts available for some local attractions.
