National Trust of Scotland garden. Lovely, maples, rhodedendrons, eucalyptus and other trees. Especially lovely in the Autumn with gorgeous red maples.

Could not believe the garden was still this beautiful even in October. For a place off the beaten path, the house was even better. The staff was knowledgable and helpful.

It was quiet and a joy to wander round. The views were spectacular and if you are in the area this is a must visit place.

I have visited this garden many times with the children over the years. Usually have a children's event for Easter. Not what you would expect of Scottish woodland garden and that's the charm of the place. There is nothing quite like it. Lovely wee tea room last time I visited and plant sales as well. The staff are knowledgable and smiley, what more could one ask of them. There is interpretation on the walks which adds to the experience. If you like gardens and walking, some of it up inclines, then this is a must when visiting Argyll and the west coast. Allow a morning or afternoon it is easy to get to as it is on the A83. Watch for opening it is just beyond a bend.
