Just returned from our second stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel. Our room(308) on the third floor was clean and spacious. Lighting was quite poor (no direct overhead light); the floor lamp was temperamental and the shade has seen better days! Did not sleep well due to uncomfortable mattress.
On the plus side -
* view from bar and restaurant (at the front) are amazing
* spa was wonderful after a day walking part of the Kintyre Way in the pouring rain and wind (could do with drinking water tho')
* the six course taster menu was first class, as was the breakfast (great choice)
* staff friendly and helpful
Would definitely stay again if we manage to get a good deal with Easy-breaks!More
