My wife and I stayed for 2 nights with my one year old daughter in october 2013. We purcahsed a deal on groupon which included bed and breakfast on both days and a 6 course taster menu on our arrival night.

When we arrived, I was impressed with the view across loch fyne from the front of the hotel. We checked in and made our way to the room which was a good size and very clean with a travel cot already set up for our arrival. We had dinner in the hotel on the first night which was faultless. Staff were excellent when we turned up with our very noisey daughter and gave us a table away from the other diners (at our request). We were well looked after and the food was beautiful. We had our deserts in the bar area with a cup of tea which was very nice and relaxed.

The following day we had a very nice breakfast and went into inveraray for a wander. Its a small place but really nice for a wander about and get lunch. On our return to the hotel we went for a swin in the good sized pool and decided that we would get dinner in the hotel again. Glad we did, the steak was excellent. And pretty well priced.

All in all, really nice hotel with ecxellent food and lovely surroundings. We'll be back.

Booked break for my friends 30th birthday through 5pm.com, we had a lot of miscommunication between both hotel, spa and 5pm.com.
I contacted management of hotel to advise of the poor communication received. Marc gardiner the duty manager contacted me personally to apologise for everything that had happened and assured me our problems were just a one off and offered a free upgrade and bottle of sparkling wine.

On arrival to the hotel, we were treated like royalty by staff, atmosphere was so chilled and homely. Dinner bed and breakfast was phenomenal. We had 2 treatments each in the spa and enjoyed lots of time in steam room, jacuzzi, hot tub and pool.

We had our dressing gown, but unfortunately there were no slippers left in hotel, so were told to just go about bare feet, slightly embarrassing, agonising when stepping on a stone which bruised my foot.

Over all though, the stay was wonderful and would definitely go back :)

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend and it was lovely. Such a bargain, we got 2 nights stay with breakfast, dinner and a bottle of wine each evening for £100 each. Also got to use the facilities, swimming pool etc. Food was delicious and lots of it. Service was fantastic & all staff very friendly. This is now our 3rd stay at a Crerar hotel & we have thoroughly enjoyed every stay, this was the smallest room though but not a big deal. Would definitely return.

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel in Oct 16th 2013 and we would highly
recommend it. Certainly value for money! When we arrived it was welcoming and the reception were very on the ball. All the staff are professional and efficient. The rooms are
well appointed and clean. The leisure centre and spa is excellent and very relaxing, as is the whole hotel. The food is fabulous a six course taster menu but on the second night we went for the bar menu and it was not a problem. The breakfast is also excellent a great range of things to choose from. A big thank you to Jordan from the restaurant and Steven from the bar as nothing was too much trouble. The team that this hotel has is second to none!
If I had one down side its that the hotel is far too hot.
Thanks we will be back. Mrs Ross

We recently stayed at the Loch Fyne Hotel as we were getting married at a venue nearby. Ourselves and our guests were very impressed with the excellent facilities and friendly staff. The staff really went the extra mile for us and our guests. We will definitely stay again.

Enjoyed a two night stay in October with the assistance of beautiful weather. Room was in the annex and was a bit disappointing with no view to the loch - only grass and trees and pretty plain decor which could have benefitted from a make over and update, although to be fair, we gained the booking on a reduced price basis. The six course taster menu proved first class with a reasonable choice and the option of using the a la carte for a supplement payment. All staff were very attentive, friendly and prompt in responding to requests. Breakfast was up to the same high standard meaning little need for lunch time eating! Car parking can be a problem - as they say themselves - spaces are like hen's teeth! Keep up the good work Crerar. Would visit again - to sample their pool etc - and of course the 6 courses!!

I organised an 80th Birthday party for 2o plus guests and was pleasantly surprised at how well it went. We got a special deal of dinner bed and breakfast for each guest on the Saturday night and I didn't hear of one criticism. The 6 course taster menu was limited in choice but enjoyable in the restaurant with wonderful views of the loch. The swimming pool and hot tub was lovely.
All the staff were friendly and helpful in our party arrangements.
Breakfast was also very good with a wide menu choice to suit all tastes.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms don't have a loch view but they were all excellent and the view was more impor...
