Two days chilling to celebrate hubby's birthday and although weather wintery it didn't stop us having a lovely break. Booked junior suite and requested Glen Ord suite and it lived up to expectations - only the rattling of the windows let the room down, had to get up in middle of night to put cardboard in them to stop noise so we could sleep!! The curtains are enormous but needed to keep out draughts. No double glazing here so just a small downside. Food, leisure facility and staff all up to a high standard - options where a bit confusing but used Crerar vouchers so had wonderful Surf and Turf with 15pounds off so all the more enjoyable as I'm sure some guests were paying a fraction of the cost. Would suggest a bit of work could be done to the tables in bistro etc - no table cloths and badly chipped tops let the overall look down. Thought there were crumbs on the table but it was chipped varnish. Drinks very reasonably priced in the well stocked bar five sixty five for pint of Guinness extra cold and a half pint of Stella. Overall definately up to usual Crerar high standard if not, deserves an extra star for setting over the likes of Chevin but each hotel has it's own personality, that's why we use the group. Hope to return sometime so would recommend the Loch Fyne to all.

Room Tip: Think only Glen Ord and one other suit have full view over loch and noted that a guest was complaini...

Great hotel in a good location with excellent facilities. The spa changing room is a bit small so I found it best to change in the room and nip down in a towel or bathrobe. The sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and hot tub are all excellent, but the only downside was no water fountain: I got a plastic cup, water and ice from the bar who are happy to provide this. Sitting in the front window relaxation chairs did at first appear quite exposed, but the glass is tinted and the view out is spectacular whilst the view inwards is more private than you might think!
In the bar, I found a good range of local bottled Fyne Ales - all the ones I tried were good. Evening dinner had more atmosphere in the older part of the building and breakfast better suited in the newer part of the dining room. With the six course taster, I was a bit put off with some of the smaller dishes arriving very soon after my chosen starter, but I just let it sit a while taking my time which worked fine. It was wise to order wine before ordering food, even if you know what you want, so that you have the wine on the table before any food starts to arrive. Whilst the a la carte supplements looked good too, I stuck to the taster menu which changed each night and it was all delicious. The house breakfast was also good, and again I didn't try any other options but they looked good on the neighbouring tables.
There are some good walks from the hotel to the castle and to the top of the hill with the little pointy hut (Dun na Cuaiche) is way-marked.
All in all, a really good weekend break and certainly the best place in the area to eat and to stay over.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay recently, hotel comfortable, food stupendous, staff excellent and location breath-taking. We would all go back, in fact plans are already being put into action. Really can't praise this hotel and Inveraray enough. Thank you to all for a wonderful stay!

Just returned from a 2 day break at the Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa purchased through Groupon.
Unfortunately I was not able to book weekend dates in March within the allocated timeframe as it was fully booked and had to book a Sun and Mon. This was disappointing as when checking on line through the hotels website there was availabilty at some particular weekends in March.
This voucher only allows you to book through Crerar Hotels and there is limited availability at weekends.
Big disappoinment was the bedroom. was clean but in need of a refurb. Also quite noisy at the back of the hotel where our room was located. Certainly not up to standard if paying full price for the room.
The leisure facilties were very good.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and courteous.
However, part of the deal was a free bottle of wine on the first night. When we arrived for dinner we requested white wine. There was a bottle of red wine in the bedroom (not sure why).
The waiter asked the Manger if we could swap to white and we were asked if the red wine was "unopened" in the room. There were 4 of us staying at the hotel and both bottles of red wine were collected from both rooms whilst we were having dinner!! I found this a bit off and unprofessional and would have gladly handed back the 2 bottles of red after dinner!!
The views across the loch were amazing. 5 min walk to Inverary town. A bit quiet for this time of year. Probably would return at a busier time and visit the castle (was closed March).

We tried to book this on lastminute.com but the dates we wanted were saying unavailable even though the hotels website said they had rooms. So phoned the hotel directly to book the same deal. I'll get my gripes out the way first by saying that lastminute prices stated it was £105pp however on checking out we were told it was £123pp? Just paid it anyway but confusing to customer!

Firstly, the location is absolutely lovely! Right near a small bout of shops/pier in inverary and the views of the loch and mountains are gorgeous!!!

The hotel itself is very tartan and scottish themed. It isn't modern but it is lovely!

The room however had lovely modern bathroom and furniture. Bed was lovely and comfortable. At night the room was really warm so we opened the window. This solved the issue and we slept like babies!

The spa facilities were lovely especially the outdoor hot tub! My first experience of one! We had our massage on arrival after getting changed and dumping our stuff in our room. (318) Great relaxing, refreshing stay! Massage was a nice start to the weekend.

We had dinner later that evening (the taster 6 course) I have included pictures of the courses. It was also surprisingly nice! I didn't expect to like trout mousse but it was yummy!

Breakfast the next day was also great. You choose from a menu and there is a table with cereals, fruit, tea etc.

I would 100% stay here again with the right deal as we are now avid spa goers!

any questions feel free to msg me! xx

Room Tip: I believe we had the refurbished rooms, which were lovely!

We had a group on voucher for 2 nights, was excellent stay apart from the room which let it down, room 17, which I think is the old part, needs extensive refurbishment, and brought up to date? If I we were to pay for the room at the normal price, we would certainly not have stayed in the room. Apart from that we had an excellent stay and the staff were lovely along with the beautiful food.

Great location and the staff were very friendly and very good. The food was good. The big let down was our room - it was very run down and badly in need of some renovation. The towels were old and tatty which added to our overall impression of the room being more suited to a seaside resort B&B.
