A beautiful peaceful setting well off the beaten track with views out to islands and far off coastlines of northern Ireland, Ailsa Craig and beyond to the Ayrshire and Dumfriesshire. We also found the location excellent for exploring all round the coast, including a beautiful day on the Isle of Gigha and a visit to The Mull of Kintyre lighthouse - it's a long way down and even longer way back but a spectacular setting.
Thanks to our hosts for a warm welcome to a clean, well equipped and cosy caravan.
Gorgeous location for a very relaxing family get away from it all holiday. Long beautiful beach shared with only a handful of fellow guests. View from static was breathtaking and we saw otters playing on the beach and also the occasional seal. It was so lovely to let our kids run free and be so very safe and relaxed. Terry and Linda the owners are so welcoming and helpful and made our stay so very easy. Caravans were not huge or very new, but they were clean and had everything you needed to cook etc. The only two things that would improve the experience would be an easier road to drive in on, some quite big rocks on track and perhaps some new mattresses on the beds, but these did in no way spoil any part of the holiday. Not much in the way of shops etc close by but Campbeltown has a tesco and a coop and plenty of other shops including a really nice fish and chip shop and indian takeaway. There is one coffee shop in Southend near to the vans that sells the most unbelievable meringues and puddings!!!! Would return to Pennyseorach Farm in a heartbeat!!
