“friendly, busy wee place”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

popped in for lunch, sunny saturday. very busy but staff very helpful, we got in just in time as when we left there was quite a queue at the door. served quickly and efficiently, food lovely and fresh. worth a visit, you can book tables which may be recommended when the new ferry starts as this faces the port

“Bluebell is buzzing.”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We love dropping in here when on the peninsula. always busy, always full of ' locals' which is the best sign of good quality I think, and always time to guide and welcome visitors to sit and enjoy lovely home made food and mouth watering home baking! Service with a smile, and served hot every time. It is a joy to see the local residents greet strangers in their midst too at Cafe Bluebell.

“Great Cafe”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

Formerly the Palm Bistro, the Bluebell Café is altogether a better name and has a more inviting appeal over its predecessor. Never having eaten here before it didn't take us long to see why this café is bustling with activity.
Welcoming and friendly service, nice food, great atmosphere, ticks all the boxes, definitely worth a visit and a longing to tip the hard working staff.

Food is to die for and the service is always great. Nothing is ever to much trouble for them and the cafe itself is spotless.
