We ate at the Taj Mahal having been told by both restaurants in the hotel in which we were staying that they could not accommodate us. Service at the Taj Mahal was quick and friendly. Food was good - tasty and filling with good portions. Certainly not the best Indian meal we've ever had, but far from being the worst and a good find under the circumstances. Loses a few points on the 'atmosphere' score as the restaurant was rather too warm for comfort.
