My partner and I were fortunate enough to have dinner in the restaurant at the Airds Hotel last week. We had heard so many postive comments about the place that we felt we must try it for ourselves. It could not have been better; the staff we so friendly, yet professional and nothing was too much trouble. We both started with a ballontine of Foie Gras which was delicious, which was then followed by a white onion and wild garlic soup which was so full of flavour it left us wanting more! For main course I had Halibut and my partner had Sea bass- both locally caught. For dessert I had a selection cheeses which were beautifully presented from a cheese trolley whilst my partner had a Raspberry Souffle which I could help but taste! It was mouth watering. We then had Coffee and Petit Fours in the lounge chatting to other guests which were fortunate enough to be staying. Next time, I will as well! I could not recommend it highly enough. Looking at all the awards the restaurant holds I am not not surprised.
