This has recently re - opened under new ownership, so we thought we would give it a pop. Firstly we arrived on spec, and didn't pre book, but this was not a problem, we always dine early so tend to get tables quite easily. We were given a choice of a couple of tables, and picked our usual spot (well it was under the old owner). It has a nice interior, and is nice and cleanin the main eating area, my one criticsim of the place, is the male toilets, they need a bit of work done, but, as it has recently passed to different owners, it might be an issue that the address. The service was very prompt and the wine was chilled nicely. Starters consisted of Lamb Samosa for myself and Veg Pakora. These were absolutely fine, minor criticism is the Samosa pastry cold have been a little lighter and crispier, but, thats a personal thing with me. The filling was excellent. Pakora's were very nice, cooked perfectly, nice texture, excellent flavour. The accompanying salad was fresh and crisp, which was good as this can so often be a bit of a let down. My standard measure for these places tends to be the Rogan Josh, and, if I like this, I tend to return and try out other things, so I went for the Rogan Josh, and have to say that it was nicely balanced, the right amount of sweet, heat, aromatic and richness. The lamb was bang on, absolutely melt in the mouth. My partner had the usual Chicken Bhuna (this is her "go to" in a new place), this was very good, but, perhaps lacked a little bit of heat, and could have done with a little zing. All told, a good experience, and we will return, and see if they have kept up the good work.
