why do we always think we have to go far in search of a good meal. we have lived a stones throw from this hotel for the past 7 years and last night was our first visit and it certainly not be our last. spotless clean fast friendly service great food freshly cooked from local produce you will have to go far to better this. we will be back

We thought we would give this place a go since it had such good reviews. We walked into the restaurant and then the back bar, but there was no one to be seen! So we went to the public bar. After one swift drink we decided this was not the place for us.

food was brilliant! freshly cooked,staff listen to what you want and will go the extra mile to see that you are satisfied

I recently stayed in the Corner Hotel for the Craws Nest Tassie open golf competition in Carnoustie for a week. From arriving through to check out the service we received from all of the staff (bar staff to restaurant and cleaners) was first class. Irene and Carol really cannot do enough for you and as for the food, what can I say...try it for yourself and see! Definitely the best food in Carnoustie and we tried other restaurants including the Indian and Chinese. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Carnoustie.

The food was exceptional and the staff made us feel very welcome and were so friendly towards us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and they gave us a table without any hassle for the Saturday evening.
