“Fantastic Arbroath Breakfasts”
Reviewed July 19, 2007

We stayed at Harbour Nights for a two-night stay in early September 2007 over the weekend of the nearby RAF Leuchars airshow. From the moment we arrived, late on Friday evening, until check-out just before lunchtime on Sunday, our hosts Bill and Sunita Adam done evrerything they could to make the stay an enjoyable one. The guest house-hotel is in a perfect location at the harbourside in Arbroath and catches the sun perfectly each morning. Very clean and comfortable rooms await all visitors. The breakfasts are superb, everyone should try Bill's smokies, served with butter, they are a perfect start to a Sunday morning in Arbroath.

We will return to Harbour Nights in the future, its not to be missed.

Second time for us to stay at this excellent guesthouse. Room 3 has a kingsize bed and has lots of room especially if friends or family are to drop in for a visit. On a previous trip other family members stayed in the other rooms and they were just as nice. All the rooms are very clean and they even have shavers, toothbrush, shoe polish, sewing kit etc incase you need them. We are very early risers and it was nice to have a cup of tea/coffee and a chocolate or cookie before we went downstairs for fresh orange juice, eggs, bacon and fresh whole grain bread. My favourite are the smokies and Bill does an excellent job with these and it certainly encourages me to return again to satisfy my craving.
Great location even for those that don't have a car but stil want to get around the town. Love walking around the harbour as well as a short walk up the cliffs and then back down past the Abby and through the townor go to the Signal house for a free tour. Short walk to the Brewhouse restaurant for an excellent lunch and dinners or join the locals and sit by the harbour with some fish and chips from the shop which is just a couple of doors away. Looking forward to our next Harbour Nights visit.

A lovely comfortable guest house, spotlessly clean in a ideal location. It is a must to try the Abroath Smokies for breakfast!

I needed to stay in the area for a couple of nights and came across this gem of a place to stay whilst searching the net.We stayed in room 3 and the decor in this room was superb.A huge bed in the centre of the room with tasteful furniture,A nice rocking chair in one corner and captains chair and table to sit at and admire the view across marina/harbour.Some binoculars were also in the room which was handy.
Very welcome hosts in Sunita and Bill, and a lovely breakfast served up in the morning.Try the Smokies , you wont get fresher.
As for Arbroath i was pleasantly surprised,Some nice eating places,a larger than expected town centre.
If you like wildlife have a look over the wall, you may see an Otter or two in the rocks,or go to the cliffs,we see some Whales just off shore.
The pictures shown give an accurate account of the decor.
Give it a try,you wont be disappointed.

Harbour Nights Guest House 4 Shore Arbroath Angus
As a party of 4 family members we stayed the Guest house in December 2006.
We were allocated opposite rooms with a shared bathroom. The rooms were well fitted and of a very high standard with all the necessary storage and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very clean and fresh.
The premises have an excellent outward appearance and are well maintained internally.
The outlook is Arbroath Harbour with its daily activity of fishing and sailing vessels, without the noise. A soothing and relaxing atmosphere.
The guest house is surrounded by interesting landmarks, as well as a shopping centre, pubs, and other eating places, with a choice from supermarkets to small shops, free house to other well known pubs, and from fast food outlets to a variety of restaurants.
The location was ideal for our purposes as we toured the east coast with ease and returned to the guest house in the evening.
Bill and Sunita Adam who run the guest house were excellent hosts. The service was first class, the food was plentiful and excellent, and the help and assistance given was commendable.
Although our stay at the guest house was short we left feeling refreshed and ready to return to work.
I plan to return to the area at the earliest opportunity and will use the guest house again. I would also highly recommend the
guest house to anyone planning a visit to the area.
