The service is very good, cannot be faulted. The location is good and very central. The menu is extensive and has a vast variety of starters and mains to choose from. The food on the whole was average and certianly no where near worth what we paid for it. Would I visit again?.....Probably not.

On my recent visit to Cinnamon there was a waiter who seemed like he was on his first shift and was trying his best to be polite to the customers and make short conversation - unlike the other staff members. However his manager decided it would be a good idea to pull him over and yell at him for disrupting us even though we found it no problem at all. This made an uncomfortable scene not only for the waiter but also for the customers - i had never seen such lack of respect between an employer and employee.

As for service like other reviews have stated there was a lateness of food, our main would come in at different periods which would mean some of us had already finished before others had even received theres. Terrible absolutely terrible. The whole experience was uncomfortable.

I have been to this restaurant a few times in the past 3 years when in Aberdeen, the food has always been very good, service was slow once in the past but not on a recent visit. The Naan breads beautifully puffy, chicken chat starter very good, butter chicken excellent, other food family had also very nice.

On a recent trip to Aberdeen, a helpful barman in McGinty's Bar on Union Street recommended the nearby Cinnamon as the best Indian restaurant in town. His only mistake was to underestimate this great restaurant - it's one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten in..

The service was warm and friendly and the restaurant was very busy when we were there. Great ambiance, even though the affable black-shirted waiters with their white bow ties were a little hard on the eye.

Don't be put off by the announcement that it offers a 'nouvelle Indian cuisine.' The very generous portions of chicken tikkas and lamb were superb, with a great blend of spices, cinnamon and others. Our excellent dinner with two rounds of beers cost about 70 Stg for three; This is reasonable in Aberdeen, given that its restaurants are universally overpriced- possibly an unfortunate by-product of North Sea oil industry.

One of the very best Indian restaurant- try it if you fancy an ample and top class Asian meal.

Very enjoyable meal . Starters especially were sensational . We went on a Saturday night & although busy had no problems with service .this had been a concern after reading some of the reviews .. Well worth a visit .
