“Gluten free treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

Found this quaint tearoom whilst on a visit to the orthodontist in Thistle Street. Eldest daughter delighted that they offered gluten free choices. We all had toasties which were really well presented and tasty. The girls also enjoyed home-bakes, the gluten free lemon drizzle was delicious. All washed down with tea served in vintage teacups and saucers. Good value in lovely surroundings.

“Relaxed Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

The service we had was very good. The menu choice for sandwiches was lovely, and the food etc. nicely presented. The cakes looked delicious and I hope to return to sample them at a later date.
I would have rated 5 stars but we had to ask for napkins and cutlery and a couple who came in after us left without being served, due to not being noticed by the waitress.

“Excellent all-round”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

Great service, quirky décor, quality food and packed with character. Situated just behind the main high street so its easy to get to but nice and quiet. Perfect setting for a business lunch.

“Excellent Tearoom in prime location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Remiss of me not to have reviewed Rosie's before. Our regular mid-morning coffee and then later snack lunch venue (whilst visiting the excellent Hamish Munro and Esslemonts shops for the last few years).

Size of tearoom (and ownership I think) has changed slightly over the years, originally shared the location with ladies fashion but now a large dedicated tearoom and deserves local support.
Lovely friendly staff provide excellent teas and coffees and snack menu. (inc Home made soup).

Come on Aberdeen when up in the area forget the expensive national chains in Union Street and give it more patronage.
