Description: E.A.R.L. In The Bemont (Formerly Earl On The Green) has been specialising in Sandwiches and Panini since 2003. Our move to The Belmont Picture House has enabled us to add a little bit more flair to our homemade recipes, Chilli, Panini Baguettes, Wraps, also with free Wifi & a fully licensed bar, furnished with the comfiest seats in the city and decorated with art from both local and national talent, the Belmont Cinema bar is now the perfect place to grab some lunchtime nourishment or a pre-cinema feast. At last, we have a venue that you will be able to sit down in, catch up on some reading or studies, socialize with friends, and of course... Eat A Real Lunch! We're available for sandwich platter delivery, just call, e-mail or check our forthcoming website for our Outside Catering menu. We also accept phone orders for pickup and localised delivery.

“FANTASTIC, at last somewhere decent for lunch!”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

I knew the bar was at the Belmont but I had not realised that it was open all day or that it served food and coffees or that it was open to non cinema goers. Now I have tried it I will be a regular.

The menu consisted of home made soup ( 3 choices , £2.50 including roll), chilli (veg or meat served with totillas £4.50), huge range of paninis and sandwiches with some very inventive fillings (under £4). I had a chargrilled veg panini with halloumi, pesto and houmous which was delicious. They are also available to take away. The coffee was also very good. Various other items ae available like cookies, crisps, olives and basket of bread.

The service was very welcoming and efficient and the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. Really good, highly recommended.

“A hidden Gem in Aberdeen City!”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

In the basememnt of the Belmont Picture House in Aberdeen is a great up market coffee shop that does a range of excellent food. It has a friendly welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. You can go there, even if you are not going to the cinema. I can thoroughly recommend it.

The Belmont cinema is on a smaller scale to other cinemas in Aberdeen, which is nice, you feel like an individual, rather than one of the crowd.
