One of my fav pubs in Aberdeen, great for watching sports or for a bar lunch/dinner.
Can get very busy if live sporting events are being screened, but you can reserve a table.
Food is nothing fancy, but good tasty pub choices, last Saturday I had a cracking Chilli con carne and my partner Macaroni, both excellent.
Good breakfasts too.
Just 5 mins walk from the Holiday Inn Express on Chapel St.

Myself and 2 friends had a mid week supper here recently and as ever food and service was as u can expect at migintys. Good quality pub grub. We had a share plate of chilli beef nachos followed by mains of haggis and neeps & beef steak pie. Large portions and all well cooked. 2 deserts and a couple of drinks each cost a very acceptable £45. Recommend for home cooked fair at affordable price.

Great atmosphere. Plenty of people in and a nice buzz but not overly busy. Food was very tasty at reasonable prices. Have a look at the menu and if it had what you like. Well worth a visit.

I cannot be happier going into McGinty's in Aberdeen for my lunch every Monday to Thuirsday.

The staff are excellent and attentive and the food is superb. I normally have a light lunch hence I normally have a soup. But when a curry is on that to is also a great experience. Curry with chips and rice, you cant beat it.

The best soups so far amongst the rest which are good is either the choritzo or the tattie soup. Go and sample it.
