I preferably look for restaurants outside the main-streets.
This place in Aberdeen is for sure well worth a visit. The bar is co-operating with the restaurant in the same house (The Prime Cuts) and the the bar-menu is fairly small, but high quality. The Corn-fed Chicken dish was very well made and tasted excellent.
The bar has a good selection of wines, both white and red, with a portion of odd wines which you do not find very often. Of course, to be in Scotland, the bar has quite a lot of whiskies.
The establishment opened 4 months ago and seemed to have started to become known as the bar became quite full. You can go here for a drink or two before you go down to the restaurant The Prime Cut.
The waiter was very observant and took very good care of all the guests.
Price-wise it was more slightly above medium, but it was well worth it.
