A pre Christmas meal with a charity group when we wished for something a bit more upmarket than the norm turned into a non event, the place is reasonably well appointed but is perhaps trying too hard, a bit expensive for what you get served and the service is pushy and a little chaotic. If you're a golfer you'll no doubt love the quirky menu but honestly, it's a lttle cheesy. It's a shame given it's reputation but the young staff do their best. Setting up the resturant for breakfast whilst the evening is still young is a fundamental error. Food is just ok, sadly.

Lovely family hotel great for business. Nice little hotel with nice rooms and decoration in all areas. Nice food, although not value for money in the restaurant. Some work on portion size, and value is needed; quality good though. no where else around so taking advantage a bit. Staff friendly and helpful and bar prices not too bad.

Room Tip: great for a stay; eat out till better value.

Late October 2013 found us staying at the Cults Hotel to attend wedding soiree of old friend. The small entrance lobby and unassuming reception belies the very well appointed bedrooms and public rooms in which the wedding party took place.

Staying here was a bit like wearing comfortable shoes, easy to slip into and relaxing to be there.

Parking is a bit haphazard but fingers crossed if you stay like us you'll be lucky and get a slot right at the front door.

To sum up it was a relaxing stay in nice hotel for great occasion.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back look over garden plot and tennis court and have small balconies.

I haven't been for a long time and was disappointed in the quality of food and the high prices. I had fish and chips and at £14.95 expected a little more than a few frozen cooked chips, bit of salad and a small fish. No vegetables and not good sized portions. Afterwards I had icecream which was nothing special and the coffee came with a wrapped biscuit.

The service was unbelievably slow as well. Very disappointing and won't hurry back

used to be great but not anymore. Prices have gone up too much that they are no longer proportionate to the quality of food you get. On the plus, it has nice surroundings. Won't be going back in a rush however

Just returned from lunch at this hotel, having visited once before in the evening around 6 months ago for dinner. Charged £8.95 for basically half portions of bar food (billed as 'lighter lunches'), liver and bacon in my case. 2 small chewy slices of overcooked liver, bacon the saltiest I have tasted for a very long time, all buried under a heap of very greasy onions and accompanied by 3 small boiled potatoes and a mountain of frozen peas to fill up the plate space. Suppose I should be grateful I didn't order the 'Long Irons' (the bar has a golf motif, which you certainly couldn't accuse them of underplaying), which would have been £13.85 for a bigger plate of not very good food. Won't be rushing back.

This is a busy B&B set in Cults Aberdeen.
The staff appear to multi task so may not always be at the reception desk. However we still found them helpful. The room was spacious and well set out with a lovely bathroom. Beware the hot water is very, very hot!
Breakfast was ok, nothing special but adequate.
The restaurant appeared busy on the evening with plenty of local people frequenting this hotel.
This is a small city hotel with some car parking set on a very busy road. Buses into the main town centre of Aberdeen were frequent.
