This is a lovely property and the proprietor, Louise, is fantastic. It's on a quiet street only half a block from a nice park and flower gardens. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the high street or 5 minutes by buses that come regularly. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. Louise will fix your breakfast to order and she is a very good cook. She is also helpful with directions, suggestions for sites to see, and she even loaned me 20p for the bus when I was short of change. Max, the house dog, is friendly and good-natured. This was very good value for the money and everything you would want in a B&B at this price range.

Only two minor complaints - the TV was tiny and the breakfast hours are somewhat limited, which negates sleeping in if you want breakfast.

Good value accomodation is hard to find in Aberdeen as demand seems to outstrip supply most of the time. We've stayed in a number of places that offered lousy value for money!
Not so this hotel. Quiet and comfortable with good rooms and breakfasts and friendly service.
A 'trust' bar and internet access add to the facilites.
I obviously walk slower than some reviewers as I found it a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of town! (There is a bus though!)
Highly recomended.

If you are going to Aberdeen and you dont want to be in the middle of it all this is the best. The guest house is a 10 min walk from the center.
The food is top class, rooms are excellent as is the service you recieve.
I always look at hotels as i think they give you the best service.NOT TRUE in this case.

Excellent guest house located a short walk from the city centre. Beautiful room with plenty of space and good facilities (including complimentary shortbread and traditional Scottish tablet). Breakfast was quickly served (cooked to order) and more than accommodated our one year old. The service was excellent with more than a helping hand on offer at all times. We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxing stay partly due to the extremely welcoming staff who were always on hand should you require any local knowledge. Even our infant's travel cot was made up before we arrived and the room was re-made while we were at breakfast! Fast, efficient service with a homely touch and very reasonable price.
