Stayed at the Hotel whilst away on Business in Aberdeen. I found the hotel to be trendy, comfortable, clean, quiet and very close to all local amenities. The only down side is that hotel doesn’t serve evening meals on Sunday, said that there are plenty of local eateries close by. I would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Bauhaus in Aberdeen. It is a very nice hotel. It was architecturally interesting, comfortable and in a great location. The staff was very nice and accomodating. It is an excellent value for the quality of the hotel, location and service. Breakfast is included in the price and has a small but good selection of hot, prepared meals. I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at the Bauhaus for two nights. Normally we stay at the Park Inn but having seen the reviews decided to stay here, wow it was brilliant. The staff are all very friendly and Andrew makes a mean Pink Lady! The room was large, the bed was huge as was the shower and it was all very clean and minimalistic. The only downside was the room had no airconditioning and so we had to open the window. Unfortunately it was extremely noisy outside and I agree with other reviewers about the seagulls, they are so loud! Breakfast was good, all the food is cooked to order and whilst neither of us had the "full works" what we did order was very nice. The coffee is excellent. We didn't eat in the restaurant but did order room service on one night, the portions were huge, actually enough to share between two but very tasty. All in all a really good boutique hotel with a lot of plus points.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the Union Street side of the hotel, Langstane Place is very noisy!

Stayed here for one night on business having stayed before. Cant recommend it highly enough. Rooms are clean and large and feel very sophisticated. Breakfast was very nice and included in the price. Considering you can pay almost £100 to stay in a 'travel inn' type of place in Aberdeen this hotel offers excellent value for money. Will stay again for a visit whenever I visit Aberdeen.

What a find! This is a superb hotel in the heart of Aberdeen, less than 10 mins walk from the railway station and just off Union Street.

This hotel oozes charm and style, and the staff are very friendly and attentive: I was even walked to my room - something that hasn't happened since I was in Browns of Mayfair back in 2001!!

I only sampled breakfast in the hotel: whilst it was a little low on fresh fruit when I got there, that was the only minor criticism I could possibly make. Staff were very welcoming and you get to watch the chef prepare your meal fresh-to-order.

The rooms are very spacious and stylish. OK, so someone found the flooring cold, but I rather like it - nice change from carpets and not at all cold in my experience.
The bathrooms have a superb walk-in shower and great Aveda toiletries.

I note someone commented on noise at the front of the hotel, and there are a few lively bars opposite, but I was on the rear of the hotel and found it very quiet (once I had switched off the fridge!).

Drawbacks? OK, so my view consisted of a slate roof, and there was a little bit chipped of the skirting board, but that's about it.

For the price and location, this is fabulously stylish, comfortable hotel - well worth a repeat visit. Can't understand why anyone would pay to stay at the Hilton - and that comes from a Hilton Hhonors card holder!

Room Tip: Maybe best to choose a room at the rear of the hotel if you are a light sleeper.
