We had an Itison voucher for Pavarotti's and we were very hopeful that is would have been a lovely lunch. However, this was not the case at all.
The staff seems very inexperienced and the head waiter told us the business was a under new management and they were keen to impress their customers with a good value voucher.
The menu was so basic and the food itself was seriously below average. Plain and boring is the only way to describe it. Cold dry chicken, pesto pasta out of a jar and mussels that tasted of nothing at all.
We will not be paying another visit to Pavarotti's until it's under new management!!

A mixed review here really. We came for lunch and were told there was no pasta on the menu at lunchtimes, only pizza and Italian style tapas. This in itself was a bit disappointing and unusual to have no pasta on offer. The waitress serving our table was very straight faced and not the happy smiley service you expect in a restaurant. The manager was called (who was great, really patient and very helpful) and said he could offer us 5 pasta dishes, all very basic but very kind of him to accommodate our requests. The food came and was ok, some of the dishes a little bland but perfectly edible. The wine was very nice and a good selection. All in all a very average lunch.

tasty food but the food was really rather dissapointing compared with the environment which has a better quality feel than the food that arrived, perhaps I was just unlucky. An enjoyable visit but not one to write home about, I would give it a second chance though.

Very pleased with a recent lunch here, meeting up with a friend. The restaurant was quiet at the time but we were pleased with the food and the service. What more can one say?

This is the 3rd time we have been for an evening meal at Pavarottis. First time there were hard veg and a piece of plastic found in my desert. Manager apologised and didn`t charge for one main course and a dessert. We were given a £50 voucher. The second time we ordered off the a la carte menu but were given the small portions of the pre-theatre menu. So we thought we would go back and spend our voucher and hopefully 3rd time lucky but no. The portion size of the a la carte food is smaller than it was in Nov 2012. The Bruschetta con Pomodoro was one bit of bread and small amount of tomato and rocket not worth the £5.25. Main course was steak and pasta ordered med rare but was cooked too much and was tough. No pepper or parmazan offered, which is standard in most good Italians. Dessert was a semi fredo which was as hard as a brick.

One member of staff was getting training about serving wine when guests were wanting to have a quite meal. One female member of staff is very abrupt and harsh not the friendly manner of staff in other restaurants in Aberdeen.

If it wasn`t for the fact I have a lunch voucher for a meze type meal I would not go back. I`m sure there are better Italian restaurants in Aberdeen.

Overall small portions, not that well cooked at too high a price for what you get.
