Owner description: There is a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere down on the farm as visitors have the freedom to meet and pet many rare-breed animals. There is also the opportunity to fed the animals. It is both a fun and educational day out for the whole family and a great opportunity to interact with both farm and exotic animals

We had my daughter's 6th birthday party here, it was a bit rainy that day but didn't dampen anyone's spirits! The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried and we had lots of fun feeding the animals and making friends with the more hands-on animals. I was most excited to meet the raccoons! Apparently they like shiny things and enjoyed playing with my necklace - it was a real treat to get so close up with them. The treehouse & slide, tractor ride and play equipment is all a big bonus. It's a well-organised, clean & tidy place. Ten out of ten!

We went to the Mellon Fun Farm only 4 miles away from home. When we got there me and my sis Leanna scooted down to the play centre. I am 8 and Leanna is 6. She turned 6 on the 2nd of November. Mum and Dad let us play for 5 mins. And then we got some food to feed the animals for 50p per food bag. The animals are so cute I think the cutest animals is the racoons and are family got to go into their cage there are super cute. And before we went we seen there was a halloween colouring competition and me and Leanna did a page of colouring then a day ago they rung my family saying that i won the colouring competition i the prize was a free family pass for four people to visit the mellon fun farm

We visited the fun farm for the first time 15th October, I have an 18 month boy and a 3.5 year old girl, they had a blast and so did myself and grandma who came with. Its priced the same as any other farm park, so i didnt find it too expensive, we found the staff absolutely lovely, so friendly! The farm itself is spotless! and the kids loved seeing all the animals, all cared for very well. My wee boy loved the big pigs and and little girl loved the little goats! There was a huge big colour playground in the centre of it all, my wee girl loved it and spent ages playing and there was also plenty for my wee fella to do. We went inside for coffee, (which was not overly priced) and the kids got to play again in the soft play area! More running about. There is a lovely little walk around a pond area and there is plenty of sitting areas if you want to have a flask of coffee with you or whatever (if its a good day) . I cant recomment enough and I will be back again to visit! Its very clean for a farm park and staff are friendly!

We arrived and it looked like an attraction added to their house. The soft play was shockingly simple and my 3 year old would have been bored quickly. The prices were really high considering the ages of my two, 18 months and 3 years old. When I tried to pay the woman in the shop said we don't take cards. This is not very accommodating considering it was going to cost £30 just to get in the door. Who on holiday carries a lot of cash? We ended up with two extremely upset children and frustrated parents. My two children ended up in a park that was much bigger and fun than this place. Avoid it if you want value for money.
