Love this place. Always guarenteed to have a good hearty meal in here. Good Big Portion Sizes. and will always bring down extras, if required. Excellant value on weeknights with the weeknight saver menu. Service is good - everyone is so helpful. Dont need to ring to make a reservation to get a table- will always try to make room for you.

Thank Donna M

If I was honest, I did not expect such good food. The place was not much to look at from the outside. Inside it was like Aladdin's cave full of treasures. The staff was courteous, the service was swift, the food was delicious. Excellent value for money. The washroom is well maintained and sparklingly clean. I would not hesitate to come in again.

I have been going to 'the Coach' for many years and have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but the last few times I've been here I've got more and more disappointed with the set up. The main gripe I would have is the choice of vegetables that you are offered with your meal. Years ago you would have automatically received a choice of veg to go with your meal at no extra cost but now they serve a basic dish without veg and then expect you to order a 'side' order to get any. My partner fancied a 'spudy' dinner and all they had was Champ and baby potatoes at an extra cost of £2.50 per side. My partner doesn't like scallions/spring onions so Champ wasn't an option.
The menu doesn't offer much either, nothing new on it and any of my favs from before arn't as nice as they once were. Basically smaller portions, less gravy/sauce and you pay for any vegetables as a side.
