We were wondering around Derry and saw the many country flags flying outside and decided to go in for a beer. The only people in there were local gents stopping in from work and a few regulars. It was so fun talking to them about Ireland and sharing with them about America. Gerry, the bartender, is displayed in a large picture behind the bar as the first person to plane walk across the Irish Sea in 1998. He was so interesting and entertaining to talk to and all the men made us feel welcome. They only serve lunch until 2 so cannot comment on the food but the fellowship here was warm and inviting. Cheers!
