“wave on the wall 2013”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

we went to Derry to take part in the world record attempt for the longest mexican wave. When it was over we went for a walk round the city walls and came across this cafe. it is small but very nice inside and the food was excellent and all local produce. The service was very good and they even brought a sample of the fish chowder to the table to try before ordering. It was also very cheap compared to other cafes in the town will definately make a return visit.

“If you have plenty of time”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We went to the cafe but noone came to us to take our order. We went after 15/20 minutes to the desk and said to the stuff that we would like to order something. Her answer, please seat again and I will come over to your table to pick up your order. After waiting again for more over 15 minutes we left this cafe.
The best thing is that there not so many guests at that time there. But they could not manage it.

“Not poor service, no service”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

During our stay in Northern Ireland we decided to visit Londonderry/Derry, the walled city. Mid-afternoon we got caught in a heavy rain shower whilst walking on the walls and decided to look for a cafe. Lucky Bloom's is right on the city walls. On entering we tried to order and was inform to sit down and someone would could and service us. It was the last contact with any member of staff we had.

Now we are fair people and the food being served around us looked very nice and we liked the look and feel of the place. But, we were ignored whilst others got served. So, in the end we left and found a more friendly place to recharge our batteries (already reviewed).
