“Moving and Insightful.”
Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

I viewed the Murals with help from Rick Steve's explanations of them in my guide book. I founds the murals fascinating and definitely worth seeing. I think it is important for Americans to realize that there are people in this world that lived through difficult times in recent years.

“A Trio of Mural Painters from Derry”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

These artists most famous work is, a series of outdoor murals called the "Peoples Gallery" in the Bogside area of Derry, depicting sectarian violence and civil rights protests in Northern Ireland during the "Troubles" There are 12 murals in total, and they span the entire length of Rossville Street. My favorite is "Operation Motorman" A must visit if your in Derry.

“Moving story”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

walked round these murals on our visit to the city and found them to be very moving. Not wanting to be biased to one side or the other, but they did tell a tale of oppression and violence towards them; as of course do the stories from the unionist side. Well worth a visit even in the pouring rain

“Bogside murals and museum”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

I was delighted to see the Bogside looking so well and the murals telling the story
Of the past ,all by themselves. I was here in 1981 and now the
bright brand new day has arrived here. These people suffered a lot but show such courage and
hope. The museum is also well worth a visit too.
