“Beautiful”

Simply stunning! This building is a wonderful example of historic Derry. It's frontage onto the newly refurbished Guildhall Sqaure also makes for a cosmopolitan experience what with its rich granite paving and pavement water fountains.

“£9 million (well) spent”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

If you are in Derry and want to know more about the history of the City and Northern Ireland, then the Guildhall is a good place to start. There are loads of staff, but they are very friendly.

“What a building”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Should people talk about the lack of investment or failure to appreciate the good parts of this (united) kingdom, then the Guildhall is a good example of public money that is appropriately spent - it houses a very good cafe, and an interesting museum/display that explores the history of the development of the city.

“Beautiful building”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

The guildhall was recently restored and upgraded to included ADA facilities. The building is gorgeous. The really took their time with the renovations and did the right. We did not make it into the chamber as there was a meeting being held. The stage area was fantastic.
